William M. Zaetz, retired member of Boilermakers Local 193, died on December 8, 2016, at his home in Severn after a long battle with cancer. He was the loving husband of Barbara Hannon (nee Jankowski), devoted father of Alison Zaetz Lombel and her husband Brian; and Mark Zaetz and his wife Melissa; dear grandfather of Thomas Steelman, Nicholas Lombel, Kaleigh Lombel, Ruby Zaetz, and CJ Hannon; brother of Steven Zaetz and his wife Sandy; former husband of Shirley Zaetz. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, William and Helen Zaetz. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Bill was 69.
Bill chose to give his body to the Anatomy Gifts Registry as his gift to Science and Education. A mass of celebration will be held on Monday, December 19, 2016 at St. Bernadette Parish, 801 Stevenson Road, Severn, 21144 at 1:00 PM followed by a reception in the parish hall.
